MadisonMadison Elle Beer, a Long Island, New York, resident and music enthusiast, was an avid listener and performer since she was just ten years old. In 2012, Madison Elle Beer posted videos of herself singing cover songs of famous songs. Justin Bieber, a pop idol, discovered her version of Etta's "At Last" within a couple of months, and shared it with Bieber's 25 million+ followers on Twitter. After media coverage, she signed a record contract with Island Records and was also offered a deal as a manager by Bieber's manager. Around that time, Beer was also cast in a small role the film of independent filmmakers Louder Than Words, which was starring David Duchovny and made its premier at the festival late in 2013.
