Leighton Meester

Leighton Meester (born Leighton Meester) is an American singer-songwriter and model. She is known as "Blair Waldorf" in the drama television series "Gossip Girl". Leighton Meester started her career as a child. When she was a kid she was a part of a local stage production of "Wizard of the Oz," then her enthusiasm for acting was heightened. She began working by performing in commercials and modeling. As a model she was a part of major brands like "Herbal Essences," "Vera Wang," "Jimmy Choo," and Ralph Lauren. The model started out as a fashion model and later transitioned into the realm of acting. Her career in acting began on the TV show 'Law and Order'. She has since performed cameos on television and feature films such as 'Country Strong', 'Monte Carlo' and 'Killer Movie'. Apart from performing, she's made music recordings and composed songs as a collaboration with many notable musicians, including 'Cobra Starship as well as singer Robin Thicke.
