In 2004 when he received an offer, he accepted the opportunity to join Google. Pichai launched his Google venture as President of Product Management. His initial goal was to make users more comfortable with their experience by using Google's search toolbar. Google search toolbar that can be used with Internet Explorer as well as Firefox. In addition, he was associated with various Google products such as Google Pack, Gadgets, Google Gears, and many more.
